Welcome to my blog dedicated to my self portrait photography. I've made self portraits since 1971 but have only made a serious effort to make one a day since 2009. Some have incorrectly suggested I invented the "selfie" and even though I made my first one in 1976, people have been making them for years before me. Thanks for checking them out!
I had to comment. I had an R69US 1964 with ealrs forks.back in 1927. Sadly it was stolen. I have been a motorcycle nut since I was a kid. The r69uswas the nicest riding bike I ever rode. Ihave ridden most bikes english - Itilian and American bult prior to 1960s. Bacck to my beloved Beemer. I loved the ears forks - effortless I never felt the cintrifugal forces of the front wheel especially when I rode a 1979 R&) with tubw forks. The forks turned me off and I didn't buy the bike because of the feel of the front end. Whin on the R69 I didn't think what I was doing -it was like I thought "ets turn on thiscorner" an the beemer just did what I thought what I wanted it to do. To me it was as good as myold triumph bonneville that I usae to have. I toured most all of new england on it and loved every mile I rode on it. If it hadn't been stolen I promse it would still be mine. I am a disblae vietnam vet- my legs no longer work well enough to ride (since 2000 and I ma hoping for surgery this year thet wi alowme to ride again. Any If it works my wish si tohave a r69 ,as it is he easiest bike ever to rode. Sadly on my VA check I will nwver be able afford another bike. Sorry but I had to tell you what a great bike they were (especially with the ears fork.
