My 100th post! While not very "daring" it is typical of what this project is about, the daily making of self portraits every day, not just the days you feel like your "on". If exotic and profound was the goal, I would have given up months ago, for me the success will be in the totality of a years worth of images.

A tree fell against my studio at Tyson, so I got out my trusty electric chainsaw and sliced it into enough pieces to get it off the building.

Tonight was opening night, started off with the BFA painting students at Des Lee and then moved onto David Bruno to see Jill Dowdin's new work.

I started walking to the schoolhouse this week, hoping to get in shape for Florence and of course, if I could loose a few pounds, that would be a bonus. I like to think of it as training for my two month photo marathon in Italy.

I have not been really happy with the results I've been getting my my Lumix and its small built in flash with the exception of using it as a fill flash to fill in deep shadows in sunlight, in those cases, it does an excellent job.
