Self Portrait in the black and white darkroom

Rosemary asked me to make a print of one of my R.I. nephews for his birthday, I found a great back and white negative from the files and did the scan and worked the image for a while. I was generally unhappy with the scanned version of the image and said, well, why not, and when to the school house and made a real black and white silver print. The image looked great, and although I can not say the same for color, I think the qualities of a silver print, are, within the limitations of my scanner and printer, superior to anything I can do in inkjet.
